Hello lybrate-user. Squint of the eye should be treated ideally at an early age within the time period that the eye learns to read and see. This age period is from 2 to 12 years. At your current age (28 years), it would be possible to treat it for cosmetic reasons. Usually, vision would not improve. Also, a thorough eye evaluation would be necessary to check for the type and cause of squint. Also, it is possible that the squint may recur after the treatment. The time of recurrence would not be possible to predict. Regards.
