About a year ago, I got hit in my left eye with a ball while playing cricket. I used to have headaches before that too, but after that incident, the headaches when occurred, affect mostly in the left part of the head including the eye area. When there is no headache, I feel fine. What should I do.

Its important not to ignore pain as you are descibing. As you are having repeated episodes you may be having some specific diagnosis for which more than pain killer may be required. Although with description it resembles migraine but do you have any inducing or relieving factors. Or any other symptoms with pain. Which pain killer you taake And how soon it responds to painkiller you take. However may I suggest you to still screen for glaucoma as this is one of not so uncommon sequelae of eye injury as might be in your case.
