Dear Doctor, I had a miscarriage 20 days before I was 6 week pregnant. And from last 6 days there is a brown discharge. I had unprotected sex a week ago. Brown discharge started after having sex. I want to ask will there b any chance of pregnancy.

Brown discharge indicate old bleeding more than 3 days ago which is so less that it could not flow out as blood. If there is no pain or fever or backache, then it may clear up in 3-4 days. If not, or if it develops into fresh bleeding then you have to visit the doctor and an ultrasound may be required. Intercourse may not be the direct cause. Some bleeding is expected after miscarriage but fresh bleeding after 20 days needs to be investigated.
