It pains behind my right ear starting from my neck through shoulder till arm. I am 43 years old and have just started swimming classes. Is this the symptoms of cervical or muscle pull or something else? Please suggest some remedy.

The symptoms described are due to muscle spasm. Stop swimming for 5 days, apply local dry heat, apply analgesic gel. If not relieved within a few days, consult an ENT doctor.
