I am 63 years and recently got eye surgery for cataract, now in third week, and as advised I have chosen multifunctiional lens. Just wanted to know, whether the brightness of the operated eye will be there for some time, because when compare to other eye this one looks brighter, this fourth week doctor as askeme to take eye drops twice a day.- PREDPOST drops, my concern is: when will this be normal, I am feeling somewhat uneasy and night drive is not comfortable, earlier I was wearing specs for short sight, and from last one and half years using for reading (my right eye is for reading) pl suggest me. You are seeing brighter objects because earlier your vision was restricted due to cataract. Glares & haloes is a factual problem with multifocal lenses. You may get used to them with time.
