My husband has a brain tumor with visible symptoms like headaches, high blood pressure, occasional weakness of the body, double vision.

The brain tumour can cause pressure symptoms. As it grows it compresses surrounding brain tissue damaging it. For eyes, it may affecting different cranial nerves which control eye movements resulting in double vision. It may also cause damage to optic nerve. Serial eye examination are important to monitor changes. According you may be suggested further tests like HESS charting for diplopia, automated visual field analysis or VEP. The same may also be monitored by treating neurologist. Press on prisms on glasses may help decrease double vision.
