I am 26 years male working in a engineering service company. I will be sit & work almost 8-9 hrs in avg. I having high cholesterol of 262 as per my last report. I took blood test 2.5 years back, It also states the same cholesterol level. My question is do drinking of hot water (Luke warm/hot as like as tea) will help to reduce the cholesterol level. I also taking hot water after my break fast & lunch.

The only way to control cholesterol is using lifestyle measures and if required addition of medicines. Unless this is done cholesterol will not decrease. Lifestyle measures are - daily 40 mins of exercise, healthy diet (take a diet consult for that), quit smoking and drinking, if after 6 weeks of these precautions you still have cholesterol on higher side consult a cardiologist for adding medicines.
