As soon as your body notices a shortage of nicotine ? usually in about three days ? it will go into withdrawal. You can expect to feel irritable, restless, and moody for about two or three weeks after quitting. The withdrawal period won't be longer if you were a heavy smoker, but it may be especially intense.

Dear Gajendra, You have to quit smoking for life, if your ED is due to smoking alone. There may be other factors causing ED that may be due to smoking directly and indirectly. Due to nicotine's action on blood vessels.
