I am 27 years ttc past 6 months. I have pcos and high serum prolactin 45). My tubes are normal and no thyroid issues. Now my doctor has put me metformin 1500 per day. I would like to know how this helps to get pregnant? And is it really okay to take metformin though my sugar level are normal and I am not diabetic. I have already instructed by my doc I could have mild side effects like giddiness ,if so to reduce my dosage!
