Hi. I am on bp / cholesterol medicine from last bb 4 months. Cardace 2.5 and rosuvas 20. From last bb 4 days m constantly checking my bp. Which is average showing 130 / 80. Cholesterol is also well under control. please guide now after 4 months shall I stop taking these medicines or reduce there mg. I mostly feel dizzy after taking these medicines. The day I don?t take them I feel good, the day I take them I feel dizzy and sometime raised heartbeat. Do I need to reduce them now? please guide.

Hello Lybrate User, Your bp is under control because you r taking cardace 2.5,you can reduce salt in the diet ,severe dizziness r side effect of the drug cardace for discontinue drug consult your physician who have prescribe cardace relaxed blood vessels reduce bp increase oxygen to brain.

I don't think you should stop the medicines. If you stop the medicines, your bp and cholesterol will shoot up again (may be slowly). Ask your doctor if you can take 10 mg now for cholesterol.
