Post delivery I had developed mastitis and had it operated thrice in both breast together. And then decided to stop breastfeeding at fourth month. Few months later I developed painful lump in my armpit which grew to a full sized grape and was present for about 3 weeks. The surgeon who had my mastitis removed initially suggested incision which I was reluctant so she suggested taking augmentin at the time and it subsided in 4-5 days. The same happened every other month and taking antibiotics helped. One year later I still develop these painful lumps which grows big and is there for at least 2 weeks. I'm fearful of incisions. Kindly help me in diagnosing the problem and what is the apt treatment.
