Hi doctor! my mother is 54 years old and she is suffering from high cholesterol. She is on medication and I am taking care of her diet. I have asked her many times for some exercises but she is too reluctant. I can?t blame her due to her age. Doctor please suggest to me can walking reduce her cholesterol?

A brisk 30-minute walk three times per week is enough to raise your ?good? cholesterol (hdl) and lower your ?bad? cholesterol (ldl) a few points. This amount of exercise, even without weight loss, is shown to improve your cholesterol levels.
