Is it preferable to get dental implant if rest three teeth (from pair of four back teeth) are treated with root canal and covered by cap or should I go with bridge.

Dental implant is always a better choice for a missing teeth for multiple reasons. 1. They are a replacement for the lost tooth root. Hence more natural. 2. Since the tooth is not connected to adjacent tooth, the gum health is improved. The success of tooth in bridge is dependant on the adjacent teeth. 3. Since the forces are directed directly to the bone in implants, the bone loss is minimal. 4. The bridge is supported on an organic base. Your tooth which is still prone to caries and decay. The implant abutment is all metal. So you can be sure that the crown will not come out. So go for the implant in missing teeth and get crowns over the root canal treated teeth. Their prognosis is also good when extra burden of adjacent tooth is not put on them.
