Apply cool compresses to ghav (sores) many times a day to relieve pain and itching if any. Also you can apply Acyclovir ointment (brand name Zovirax) and penciclovir�cream (brand name Denavir) over the sores. Both work to speed up the healing process and reduce the viral activity. THANK YOU.
