I am 30 years women. After my delivery 2 years onwards I am not reducing my weight. I have thyroid problem tsh but It was controlled after treatment. Please provide me good vegetarian diet thank you.

lybrate-user, Thanks for the query. Madam what is the current TSH level? Unless TSH is very well controlled (<3 mU/L), efforts to control weight will not succeed. So please check that. To give a specific dietary plan I need to know your present dietary pattern, extent of daily exercise. General guidelines to be followed are: Stop eating sweets, deep fried foods, pastries, bakery items and foods made from maida. Increase intake of green leafy vegetables, salads and fruits. Avoid soy beans and soy containing food products. Always use whole grain flours for chapati and roti. Plus exercise daily for 1 hour minimum. Thanks.
