I am thyroid patient and use thyronorm 150 mg daily. On recent blood tsh level is 2.5 my total cholesterol is 230. Non hdl cholesterol is 184. Sgot is 45 and sgpt is 65. What I have to do?

Mr. lybrate-user Kumar, Thanks for the query. TSH level 2.5mU/L is within normal limits. Which means same dosage needs to be continued. Lipid profile looks fine. Liver enzymes are high suggesting possibility of fatty liver. There is no medication for that. What is needed is proper diet and weight reduction. With a BMI of 31.14 kgs you are already in grade 1 obesity. Your ideal body weight should be 70 kgs. Please see that there is weight reduction, that will help in improving liver condition as well as cholesterol. Thanks.
