After clinical examination of my periodontal problem in 2 different hospitals, I was advised for deep cleaning and curettage procedure in 1 hospital where the another suggested a flap surgery. Am confused about which one to go for. Any help in this regard? Thanks doc.

You can go for deep cleaning and current age first .. if that is not helping you you can go for flap procedures ..actually totally depends upon the condition of gums ..

Hi, Both are on similar lines curettage is first or initial step n flap final so let a periodontist c it n make the decision it's clear you have severe gum problem as both the Dr. are on same lines.

You should go for flap surgery if the dentist has so suggested, but offcourse after a deep cleaning and curettage.
