All medicines have side effects. Statins can damage the liver and cause diabetes, and some other side effects. Atorlip is required for patients of blockages, as in such patients benefits exceed side effects. If you are taking it due to cholesterol blood reports or any other reason, risk of side effects is more than chance of benefits. Benefit chances are about 1% per year, serious side effects same 2% per year. Plus minor side effects about 10 % per year. Suggest talk to people who are healthy at ninety about health, don't trust unproven human beings.
