Hello, I have stopped taking statins two months ago after lipid levels had significantly decreased, should I go for blood tests as I feel my cholesterol/triglycerides have increased again? Also in case it is increased, what is safer way to keep lipids under normal levels apart from statins/fenofibrate as they are harmful. In case I have to continue with these medicines, what is minimum dosage without causing side effects or alternative safer medicines?
