I got pulmonary thromboembolism 9 months back. Now am using acitrom 2 mg n 1 mg alternatively .is this tablet I have to use for life long?

Hi, Deciding how long you need to continue acitrom depends upon person's risk of having another blood clot compared to risk of bleeding. Recommend treatment duration is from minimum 3 months to max lifelong. U need to discuss this with your doctor and accordingly that you need to continue or discontinue acitrom. Thank you.
