I am 52. My cholesterol level went 272 when doctor prescribed atorva10. Is it worth taking any medicine at such level of cholesterol. After using atorva it came down to 172 over a period of time. Should I stop taking atorva or any other medicine for cholesterol.

The cholesterol level is normally below 200 and as you have a higher level, the atorva 10 mg is needed
