Hello doctor my cholesterol total serum is 229 mg/dl. Triglyceride serum is 196 mg/dl. Both are above the desirable level. How to bring them in the normal range. Please guide. I am 47 years old woman. 5.5 height .weighing 65 kg.

You have only a mild hypercholesterolaemia and if you reduce fat intake and do exercises, you can bring the levels down to the desirable level of less than 200 mg%
