I recently did blood test, report showing my hdl cholesterol is 44 (ideal range shown 40 -60). My ldl cholesterol is 172 well below ideal range (<200). How should I increase my hdl cholesterol level? Can you suggest remedy for increasing my hdl cholesterol?

Only way to improve your hdl (good cholesterol) is by doing regular exercise & by following a stict low salt/fat diet. Avoid spicy, greasy, heavily salted preserved food. Tab niacin, antioxidants, grape seed extracts & resveratrol, omega 3 fatty acids have some value in increasing good cholesterol.
