Sir, male 73. My total cholesterol 108, hdk: 29, ldl 31 triglyceride: 229 the ldl 31 is lower than minimum value (50). Is there any risk in having ldl as 31 I read in net that such ldl may lead to risk of stroke. Kindly clarify.

No, there is no risk of having ldl 31. In fact your low ldl is good, you have low chances of coronary artery disease. Latest scientific research says 'lower the ldl, the better' initially some studies said increased chances of stroke with low ldl. However, theses claims couldn't be substantiated in later studies.
