My baby is getting cold frequently. His chest is congested and nose is running. He is 1 year 2 months old. He was born premature at 7 months. Last time due to wrong treatment of some doctors he needed blood transfusion due to dropped blood count by heavy medicine for cold. Please help.

There are certain drugs which may react to some individual producing some side/ toxic effect which can be known after use. Pls note the medicine which reacted and told doctor whenever you visit. It shall be in interest of baby to know the name of medicine which reacted before advising medicine. To develop immunity, give him protein rich nutritious diet and vit a 60.000 units daily for a week. For running nose, instill saline nasal drops in each nostril 3 times in a day.
