Age 45. My cholesterol level is serum 158. HDL 47 LDL 90 TRIGLYCERIDES 115 VLDL 22 can I consume alcohol once in a week I am taking rozavelf10 please advice.

Even though your cholesterol is within normal limits, so if you occasionally want to consume Alcohol you may, but limit it to 30-60 ml and don't make it a routine habit, let it remain occasional. Also don't binge drink. Alcohol can lead to increase in Triglyceride and cholesterol levels, so in case you are taking medication at present and start occasional drinking, then repeat your Lipid profile after 2-3 months, to see if the lipid levels have worsened or if you need any dose change.
