Sir, by seeing my lipid profile doctor advised to take atorvastatin 10 mg and ecosprin 75 mg, now my serum cholesterol: 145, hdl: 40, ldl: 80, vldl: 80, triglycerides: 250, my age is 48 years, shall I continue same dose or to increase any dose, as is am having bp and hypothyroidism.

Hello, Thanks for the query. Your lipid profile is fine. Same dose of Atorva can be continued. No need to increase. More importantly maintaining a healthy lifestyle is the. Keep your weight in check (no information is there on height & weight). Plus take balanced diet that provides exact calories as required. Plus regular exercise for over 1 hour is the need. Your TSH should be always around 3 to 4 mU/L. BP too should be in control. Thanks.
