I am 54 years old my hips is 9 rbs 140fbs 143brutal cholesterol is 150 with trglites 165. I am taking linagliptin 20_mg with metformin 500 mg at night and. Stating 5 mg in the morning glycomet gp1 in the morning bp and kidney test normal now very healthy shall I change medicines. Jam diabetic for last 10 years.

You stop all these medicines and starts tab triglimiprex 2 dose 1/2 tab b. I. D, after taking some food, then cap pregabanyl 1 cap at bed time, if you suffering from any other discomfort then response me.

Hello, Thanks for the query. It appears you have uncontrolled diabetes. You are referring to HbA1c% of 9% I think. In a well controlled diabetic person FBG should be < 100 mg or closer to 100 mg, PP should be 150 to 170 mg & HbA1c% < 6.5% Therefore there is a need to look at your overall treatment which includes drugs being taken, with their dosage, dietary pattern, extent of daily exercise and maintaining of normal body weight. We also have look at other details like lipid profile, BP readings, serum creatinine and urea. Thanks.
