My microalbumin in urine is 5. Sugar fbs is 140 rbs is 143 hba1c is 9 bp normal I am taking tenegliptin 20 mg with metformin 500 at night morning glycomet go1 total cholesterol is 216 with trglyts 300 taking statin 5 mg at night please advice me regarding future medications.

Mr Sooraj Kumar, Thanks for the query. I have seen the details given. Fasting glucose 140 mg and HbA1c% 9% are quite high. At your age FBG should be < 100 mg, PP 150 to 170 mg & HbA1c% < 6.5%. Therefore it is clear that there is need to upgrade the treatment for diabetes. Hence it is necessary to look at dietary pattern extent of daily exercise and present medication, lipid profile details. Thanks.
