My father aged 50 started having a lower back pain in the left kidney region 3 days ago. The pain goes away and comes back occasionally and it seems to be localised in that region. There has been no signs of abnormality in urine and other symptoms. I would like to mention that he usually has difficulty in emptying the bowel at defecation. As of now, I am very much worried and would like to know about the possibilities apart from kidney stones. Could it be something related to colon?
