Eating a lot of food does'nt help. Infact eating right amount and at appropriate time will help increase weight. You need to follow a diet rich in proteins, carbohydrate, good fat and also need to do some exercises that will increase muscle mass and also help increase weight. I am giving you a sample diet plan try to follow that- Early morning- banana + 10 almonds (exercise- running or aerobics for 30 mins) breakfast- 1 banana + 1 cup milk with sugar + 2 potato stuffed parantha/ plain parantha + vegetable/ 1 cup curd midmeal- 1 cup fruit salad+ handful nuts/ 1 cup fruit smoothie with nuts lunch- 2 cup vegetable + 2 chapati+ 1 cup curd + salad evening- 1 cup banana shake with nuts + any1 snack like cheese sandwich/vegetable wheat pasta dinner- 2 cup dal+ 2 chapati+ salad post dinner- 1 cup milk with sugar all the best!
