I am a diabetic with cholesterol slightly on the higher side. Which oils could we use while cooking. Staple diet would be - breakfast -> 3 chapati, veggies, daal. Lunch -> Rice, daal, veggies. Dinner -> 3 chapati, daal, veggies.

Avoid saturated fats like ghee, butter,vanaspati, coconut oil. You can use locally available oils in moderation. Exercise regularly which will help in diabetes control as well as reducing cholesterol.
