Actually I have been diagnosed of diabetes, b.p and high cholesterol on dec 2020. My hba1c was 9.5, cholesterol was 195, triglycerides was 224 and b.p was 100/150. I consulted the local doctor and he gave me three medicines vil gm 500, novastat 10 and pinon 20. After few days of restricted diet and medication my sugar levels went down, b.p also went down so from 14th january I stopped taking sugar and b.p medication. My sugar is under control and even my b.p and cholesterol is under control. Recently my hba1c has gone down to 5.9 and cholesterol level to 99 and triglycerides to 86 and my hdl to 48. I have not taken medication for one and half month. My only problem is I have lost around 7 kilos of weight. From 64 to 57 kg. What should I do?

Hello, Thanks for the query. I have gone through the details given. Currently with 57 kgs weight your BMI is 21.57 kgs whch is with in the normal range but lower side. Usually 23kgs/Sq meter is considered as better BMI. You need to add about 4 to 5 kgs. One of the reasons for weight loss is excessive high blood glucose which you had some time back. That leads to loos of weight and general tiredness. Since now your diabetes seems to have come under control or may have reversed, so with proper food intake, particularly increased proteins and regular strength building exercise you can regain the lost weight. If you have any questions please do come back. Thanks.
