My cholesterol level are high as mentioned below. Total cholesterol -213, HDL - 31, LDLV- 120, TRIGLYCERIDES -373, TC /HDL RATIO -6.9, LDL /HDL - 3.9, VLDL -74, NON HDL CHOLESTEROL - 182. Should I take medicine to reduce cholesterol levels. Earlier I had satin to reduce the cholesterol but I noticed all the common side effects of satin and I discontinued the same 3 years back. My cholesterol levels was absolutely fine on last April as a result of good exercise and jogging. Please advise.

sir if you can control your cholesterol by good diet and Excercise,then it is best .However cholesterol in long time may cause heart disease and peripheral vascular diseases. It is up to you.

hello.... You can take homeopathic medicine:- cholestrinum syrup ( 1 spoon thrice a day half an hr before meal) take it for one month.... with this start exercise and also eat healthy..... revert be back with feedback....
